We are seeking Industrial Document Shredder Operators who will be responsible for operating and maintaining shredding equipment and securely destroying our client’s sensitive documents. This role is security sensitive, which is critical to our promise of safe and sustainable disposal.

What You’ll Do.......
Operating industrial shredding machines to destroy confidential documents
Ensuring proper loading, feeding and monitoring of shredders to avoid jams and other equipment issues.
Maintaining a clean and organized shredding workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
Follow chain-of-custody procedures when handling client material from pick-up to destruction.
Logging and recording shredding activity, including quantities destroyed and disposal methods.
Assisting with onsite shredding at the client’s location as required.
Identifying and separating non-paper material or contaminants prior to shredding.
Packaging shredded material for recycling according to company and environmental standards.
Reporting any equipment malfunction or security concerns immediately.
Wearing required protective gear (PPE) and following all health and safety procedures.
Qualification
KCSE Certificate or equivalent
Basic mechanical aptitude and physical stamina to operate equipment and handle documents.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocol precisely.
Trustworthiness and ability to handle confidential material discreetly.
Added Advantage
Experience in a warehouse, production or document handling environment.
Familiarity with safety standards and machinery operation.
Working Conditions
Physical work environment involving standing, lifting and moving materials.
Exposure to paper dust and noise (PPE provided)
May involve working in the client’s premises or off-site locations.
Requires consistent adherence to strict confidentiality and security procedures.
Compensation Structure
Remuneration is based on a daily rate determined per project.
